Lucille Marion Dittrich

Lucille Marion Dittrich, age 88, of Grants Pass, died September 27, 2021 at her home.

Lucille was born January 27, 1933 in Gary, Indiana to Peter & Eva (Moss) Emershy. Lucille lived in Los Angeles, California, then St. Paul, Minnesota, before settling in Grants Pass over 40 years ago. While in Los Angeles, she worked at a ranch taking people on horseback trail rides. While residing in Grants Pass, her past jobs included working at a lumber mill, and as a motel housekeeper, and a laundry worker at Highland House Nursing Center until her retirement.

Lucille enjoyed setting up and selling items at the swap meet, that used to be located south of Caveman Bridge.

Her hobbies included watching television, listening to classic country music, and especially spending time with her daughters. In her younger years, she loved riding horses.

Lucille is survived by daughters Karen Dittrich and Katherine Dittrich both of Grants Pass; sister Marlene Sexton; and brother Robert Emershy.

She was preceded in death by daughter Laura Dittrich.
