Lt. Norman Henry Harrold Jr, age 75, of Azalea, died Sunday, September 14, 2014 at Highland House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Family services will be held. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Norman was born August 15, 1939 in Medford, Massachusetts to Norman & Ruth (Stevens) Harrold. For ten years he served with the United States Coast Guard. For 35 years he worked with the United States Air Force with the SR-71 program then in personnel at Beal Air Force Base in Marysville, California. On May 1, 1992 in Reno, Nevada he married his wife, Jan. He moved from Marysville to Azalea 22 years ago.
Norman was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association and the Gold Prospectors Association.
His hobbies included prospecting and genealogy.
In addition to his wife, Jan Harrold of Azalea, Norman is survived by two stepsons, Richard Soares of Azalea, Oregon and Randall Tudor of Guerneville, California; his twin brother, David Harrold of New York; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Nancy; and two brothers, Stanley and Donald.
