Louise Joan Cullop, age 78, of Grants Pass, died Friday, October 4, 2013 at her home.
No services are planned. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
She was born Louise Joan Brennan on March 8, 1935 in Chicago, Illinois to Luke & Katherine Brennan. Later the family moved to California where Louise attended Pomona College. In 1955 she married Edward M. Phillips and they had two daughters. She worked for Bank of America where she met her current husband, Dean Q. Cullop. On June 15, 1968 in Las Vegas, Nevada, they married. They resided many years in Redlands, California and Cherry Valley, California before moving to Reedsport and Florence, Oregon. In September of 2012 they moved from Florence, Oregon to Grants Pass.
She was a member of Florence Church of Christ.
While living in Redlands she volunteered at the Redlands Hospital Ladies Auxiliary.
Her hobbies included reading and feeding the birds.
Survivors include her husband, Dean Q. Cullop of Grants Pass, Oregon; a daughter, Annette M. Clark of Grants Pass, Oregon and a step-daughter, Brenda G. Cullop of San Marcos, California and three grandchildren, Joshua E. Clark, Sean T. Clark and Rose E. Clark.
Preceding her in death was a daughter, Kathleen L. Phillips, her brothers and sisters and parents.
