Lori Kay Shires, age 43, of Williams, died Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at her home.
A graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m., Sunday, September 7, 2008 at Sparlin Cemetery with Chaplain Randel Livingood officiating. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society, 31 W 6th Street, Medford, Oregon 97501.
Lori was born February 27, 1965 in Ashland to Charlie & Kay (Conner) Rabjohn. From 1979 to 1983 she attended Hidden Valley High School. After high school, she joined the United States Navy and served four years active duty. She then joined the Navy Reserve and served for six years. She worked for the Bureau of Labor in Oregon and Department of Indian Affairs in California. Her most satisfying job was with handicap children for the Ukiah School District. She lived in Williams for 34 years.
She loved her family gatherings and most of all watching her children’s accomplishments. She enriched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Her hobbies included art, camping, and reading.
She is survived by three daughters, Samantha Shires, Brittney Shires, and Jessica Shires; her parents, Charlie & Kay Rabjohn of Williams; and a brother, Steven Rabjohn of Applegate.
