Loretta Taylor Cimo

Loretta Taylor Cimo, age 92, of Grants Pass, died Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at a private home.

Private interment will be at East Lawn Sierra Hills Memorial Park in Sacramento, California. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Loretta was born November 29, 1919 in Weed, California to Stanley & Anna Marcum. She was raised in Lincoln, California and on May 4, 1935 in Lincoln she married Ralph Taylor. She later lived for many years in Sacramento, California. After the death of her first husband, she married Fred Gurry on May 26, 1982 in Sacramento who preceded her in death as well. On September 18, 1994 in Sacramento she married Frank Cimo who also preceded her in death. In 2009 she moved from Sacramento to Grants Pass, Oregon.

Loretta was a member of Capital Christian Center in Sacramento for many years and especially enjoyed her church activities.

Survivors include a daughter, June Banta of Hammil Valley, California; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Katharine “Toi” Taylor.
