Loretta June Macisaac

Loretta June Dixon MacIsaac
June 8, 1924 – April 26, 2017

She peacefully left us, free at last from several years struggle with dementia to reunite with her son, Bradley Colonna; her husband, Don MacIsaac; her mother, Ethel Dixon; and her sister, Mary Denton, all of whom predeceased her far too early.

Born Loretta June Dixon in Wellington, Kansas, the family shortly thereafter relocated to Los Angeles. Loretta attended Los Angeles High School. Several years later she married Ernest J. Colonna and had three children. Though she and Ernest divorced, they remained friends.

Loretta pursued a career with the Pacific Bell Telephone Company where she met and married Donald MacIsaac. Upon retirement, Don and Loretta settled in Grants Pass, Oregon.

Loretta is survived by her children, Kerry Colonna and Lanni Cunningham; stepchildren, Sandy (Keith) Schultz, Cindy MacIsaac and Susie MacIsaac; grandchildren, Brad Colonna (Anissa) and Terence Cunningham; great-grandchildren, Havana and Lucas Colonna; niece, Pamela Brown; nephew Tom Denton (Vicki); and also survived by many other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be at 4:00 p.m., Monday, May 1, 2017 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors.

Private interment will be at Eagle Point National Cemetery.
