Former Grants Pass resident, Lorena Frost, age 90, of Milwaukie, Oregon, died Sunday, July 22, 2012 at her son, Jerry’s home in Milwaukie.
A graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at Memory Gardens Memorial Park in Medford, Oregon. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
Lorena was born August 31, 1921 in Puyallup, Washington to Sadie &William Pizer. She grew up in Portland and was a graduate of Commerce High School. In December 1941 in Medford, she married Melvin Frost. From 1946 to 2003 she lived in Grants Pass where she and her husband owned the A.B.C. Color Center for 31 years. They lived in Medford from 2003 to 2005 before moving to Milwaukie to be near their son.
Lorena was a member of the Apostolic Faith Church where she was involved in many aspects of the church including music ministry and missionary work. Through her missionary work she was a world traveler and had a special love for India.
Lorena is survived by her son, Jerry Frost, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Melvin Frost in 2007.
