Lora Ellen Fitzgerald

Lora Ellen Fitzgerald was born April 8, 1929 in Northfield, Ohio to James Cecil Ball & Zelma Lenore (Spindler) Ball.

She was an avid painter; flowers were her specialty. She loved reading, crossword puzzles, Sudoku, crochet and cross-stitch. Her hands were rarely idle.

Lora was preceded in death by her parents, James & Lenore Ball; brother, James Cecil Ball, Jr; sister, Shirley Ann Powell; husbands, Jesse Levi White and David Cantrell Fitzgerald, Jr; stepdaughter, Donna Jean Yager and grandsons, Michael Yager and Martin Yager.

She is survived by daughters, Janet Waskiewicz of Garretsvilles, Ohio, Rhonda Lynn White of Grants Pass, Oregon, Valerie Gail Snow of Rogue River, Oregon and Sheryl Ann Snow of Medford, Oregon; sisters, Eva Louise Labuski and Iris Anita Dawson both of Bedford, Ohio; 17 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren, with another due in April.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 9, 2016 at College Heights Baptist Church. Private interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
