Lois A. Ritcheson

Lois A. Ritcheson, age 89, of Grants Pass, died Sunday, November 3, 2013 at her home with her family by her side.

No services are planned. Private inurnment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park with her husband. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Lois was born September 26, 1924 in Stanley, North Dakota to Howard & Ida Madison. She moved with her family to Hollywood, California and graduated from Hollywood High School. She worked for Lockheed in Burbank, California. She married James C. Ritcheson and had two children, Larry & Terry. She was a homemaker; a very devoted wife and mother. She later worked for Weight Watchers for many years. In 2000 she moved from Hemet, California to Grants Pass to be near her daughter.

Survivors include a daughter, Terry Leonard of Grants Pass, Oregon; a sister, Dorothy Young of Camarillo, California; four grandchildren including Denise Smith-Rowe of Hugo, Oregon and Breiana Stewart of Grants Pass, Oregon; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Ritcheson; son, Larry Ritcheson; brother, Walter Madison; and her parents, Howard & Ida Madison.
