Lloyd Adams

Lloyd Adams, age 95, of Grants Pass died Monday, March 25, 2014 at Three Rivers Medical Center.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Countryside Village for both Lloyd & Sherry Adams. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Lloyd was born July 26, 1918 in Spokane, Washington to Thomas Adams & Mary Frances Adams. He attended Pullman High School and one year of college at Washington State before marriage and Naval service entered his life. His first marriage to Berenice Evans ended in divorce. He later married Sherry and they were married almost 60 years and spent most of their years together in Southern California before moving to Grants Pass in 1987.

Survivors include his son, Michael Adams; two daughters, Gail Simmons and Linda Gilbert; two sisters, Floy Thorington and Vivian Carstens; a stepson, Adrel Benbrook Jr; a nephew, Tom Carstens and wife Kathy and 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death was his wife Sherry Adams on December 30, 2013 and his stepson, Jim Benbrook.
