Linda L. Hamilton

Linda Lee (Lindy) Hamilton, 69, of Grants Pass, Oregon, passed away April 2, 2021 surrounded by loved ones in her home.

Linda was born September 18, 1951 in Nebraska City, Nebraska. She was the daughter of Barbara Radford. Linda had a beautiful soul that would light up the room as she entered, but never mistake her kindness as a weakness. She was a tough woman who would have done anything to help those around her. Her persistence with people in her life was strong. She never gave up on those who needed help the most. Anyone who was fortunate enough to meet Linda always left with something positive, if it wasn’t with knowledge, it was with love.

Linda had 5 children and was a grandmother to many. Her favorite hobbies were reading, playing piano, cooking music, yodeling, and history. If she wasn’t cooking, she was reading or mingling with others around her. Linda lived an adventurous life going from country girl to city girl, but she was always a country girl at heart.

Linda was serene in her Christian faith from her childhood up until her passing. Linda was diagnosed with COPD emphysema and fought her way through a long hard battle, but she never once lost faith in God along her journey. Her strength and determination were never taken from her during her battle. She lived her last moments in tranquility until God called her home. She will be missed by many and will continue to be loved by everyone.

Linda is survived by her sister Kim; her children Shane, Kanada, Chris, Dustie, David and many grandchildren. She is now reunited with her mother, husband, sister, brother, and many more whom we’ve lost.
