Linda Louise Hansen

Linda Hansen, age 79, of Grants Pass, died October 30, 2023 at her home. Linda was born October 15, 1944 in Grants Pass, Oregon to Herman “Jim” and Barbara Humberd. She grew up and attended schools in Grants Pass and graduated from Grants Pass High School.

On February 26, 1962 Linda married Richard Robertson. Together they had two children, Laurie and David.

After a divorce, she later married Walter Hansen on September 2, 1972 in Carson City, Nevada. Walter and Linda owned and operated the Printing Press until their retirement.

Linda loved the Oregon coast, camping, and fishing. She was able to travel twice, with friends, to Palau, Oceania.

Linda was a member of ZONTA International in the 80’s, where she helped fight against gender inequality and gender violence in marginalized countries.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband Walter Hansen Sr.; parents Herman “Jim” and Barbara Humberd; foster brother Dale Humberd; grandson Josh Entriken; and great-grandson Cody Wall.

She is survived by her children Laurie Hansen and David Robertson; her step-children Walter Hansen Jr., Denise Westerman, and Donna Hansen; her sister Juliann Casebolt; nine grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., November 18, 2023 at North Valley Seventh Day Adventist Church in Merlin, Oregon.
