Lesli Joan Taylor

Lesli Joan Taylor, age 47, of Cave Junction, died Monday, January 21, 2013 at her home.

Family services will be held. Illinois Valley Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Lesli was born February 17, 1965 in Redwood City, California to Harry & Joan Amsler. She grew up and attended schools in California and in 1981 graduated from Fremont High School. She met her husband, Jeff in California and they were married in 1984 and had two wonderful children. In 1989 she moved from Sunnyvale, California to Cave Junction.

Lesli cared for others and rescued people that needed help.

She was a wonderful mom and wife and a great sister. She was a beautiful woman inside and out.

Her hobbies included puzzles and beadwork.

Survivors include her husband, Jeff Taylor; a daughter, Nicole Thoms; and a son, Josh Taylor all of Cave Junction; two sisters, Judi DePauw of Quincy, Illinois and Jeanine Thompson of Grants Pass; a brother, Jon Amsler of Cave Junction; and a grandson, Dominic Thoms.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry J. Amsler and Joan H. Amsler.

She was loved by all.
