Leroy Ivan Welch

On June 27th 2016 God told a great man it was his time to come home
A great and joyous life he has shown
Leaving behind great grandkids and grandkids and two boys and a daughter, a
Brother and sister-in-law and a wonderful wife.
For 61 years they shared their life.
He served our country in 2 wars
On the ground in the Korean War
And repairing planes outside of Vietnam
For hours he talked about his life keeping every listening
And most of his day whistling
Always learning new things from great grandkids
Spit wads were formed with his great grandson
Bombarding grandma and many more
His joy was seen on his face
Laughing and giggling in a wheelchair race
A man we will remember as we push through life
With regrets that he might have more stories to share
Or the ability to show him how much we care
He sits in heaven watching over us all and sharing his stories with his daughters
And the Lord
So today we say until we see you again my father my friend my grandpa and
My great grandpa, brother and husband watch over us while we push through
Our lives we will always love you
