Leonard I. Morrison, age 85, of Wilderville, went home to be with his Heavenly Father March 3, 2021.
Leonard was born May 20, 1935 in Williams, Oregon to Eugene & Della Morrison. He was one of seven children raised on the family farm in Williams. Leonard graduated from Grants Pass High School in 1954 and then attended Multnomah School of the Bible in Portland, Oregon, and was a member of the Oregon National Guard.
In 1965 he married Nettie Rigel and together they had one son, Walter Morrison who passed away May 28, 1998.
Leonard worked for Pat’s Sanitation (Southern Oregon Sanitation) until his retirement.
Leonard humbly devoted his life to bringing others to Christ through the Good News Club ministry and his service at Rogue Valley Community Church.
He was a member of Rogue Valley Community Church in Rogue River where he enjoyed serving as a Sunday school teacher, deacon and elder.
Survivors include his wife Nettie Jane Morrison; daughter-in-law Kateri Morrison Clark; brother Wayne Morrison all of Grants Pass and also numerous other family members.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to your church, the Good News Club, a missionary group, or your favorite charity.
There are no words to express how much he will be missed.
A viewing will be from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Friday March 12, 2021 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors.
A graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday March 13, 2021 at Woodville Cemetery in Rogue River.
