Leon Morgan, age 77, of Grants Pass, died Sunday, November 7, 2010 at his home.
A memorial service will be at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, November 13, 2010 at Hull & Hull Chapel.

Leon was born May 29, 1933 at Klamath Indian Agency, Oregon to George & Catherine Morgan. In 1951 he graduated from Del Norte High School in Crescent City, California and later earned an Associate degree from OTI (now OIT) in Klamath Falls. From 1952 to 1954 he served in the United States Army during the Korean War. On October 21, 1955 in Reno, Nevada he married Colleen Hughes and together they lived in various places over the years before settling in the Rogue Valley in 1980.
Leon attended Edgewater Christian Fellowship.
He was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed watching all sporting events and playing golf. For many years he volunteered as a coach with Little League, Babe Ruth, and Senior Babe Ruth.
In addition to his wife, Colleen Morgan of Grants Pass, Oregon; he is survived by three sons, Stacy Morgan and his wife Betsy, Rowdy Morgan and his wife Janis, and Woody Morgan and his wife Lisa all of Grants Pass, Oregon; a brother, Don Morgan of Bremerton, Washington; and six grandchildren, Nolan Morgan, Page Morgan, Zach Morgan, Mikayla Morgan, Nate Morgan and Luke Morgan.
