Laura Jeanne Pedersen

Laura Jeanne Pedersen, 88, of Grants Pass died Jan. 1, 2018.

A memorial service will be held Saturday Jan. 6 at 11am at Calvary Lutheran Church in Grants Pass. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors is in charge of arrangements.

Laura was born in Fall Creek, OR and went to high school in Lowell, OR. She married Donald J Pedersen July 4th 1954 and they were married for 42 years until Don’s passing in 1996.

She enjoyed gardening, porcelain doll making, and playing banjo alongside her late husband who played piano. She was a direct descendent of Agnes Stewart who came West in the 1800s along the Oregon Trail.

Survivors include her sister Carole Siegworth and her children Julie McDevitt, Jon Pedersen, and Anne Stevens and 4 grandchildren.

She was preceded by her husband, her mother and father, and 5 brothers and 2 sisters.

Laura was a loving mother, grandmother, and wife who shared her love of music, birds, and flowers with everyone who knew her. She will be greatly missed.
