Larry Wayne Hecox

Larry W. Hecox, age 65, of Grants Pass, died Thursday, October 10, 2013 at Three Rivers Medical Center in Grants Pass.

A graveside service with Military Funeral Honors will be at 12:30 p.m., Thursday, October 17, 2013 at Eagle Point National Cemetery. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Larry Wayne Hecox was born March 11, 1948 in Huntington Beach, California. From 1968 to 1970 Larry served in the United States Army as a medic until his honorable discharge. On August 28, 1972 he married the former JoAnn Jensen. Their only child, Jennifer, died on September 16, 2013.

For many years Larry worked at Miller Redwood in Merlin, Oregon until the mill closed in 2006. In 2009 he completed an Associates degree in nursing from Rogue Community College. In 2010 Larry retired from Masterbrand Cabinets in Grants Pass.

Larry loved working with people.

He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Hecox of Grants Pass; and two grandsons.
