Larry Kirk Weatherwax, age 55, of Rogue River, died Wednesday, December 24, 2008 at Rogue Valley Medical Center.
Family services will be held. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
Larry was born July 21, 1953 in North Hollywood, California. During the Vietnam Era he served in the United States Army. In 1979 he moved from Bishop, California to Rogue River.
He was a firewood cutter and rock and roll musician playing the electric guitar. He was a hard worker, skilled mountain man and wonderful father and friend. He loved his dog.
Survivors include three daughters, Lydia Weatherwax, Tabitha Lynn Weatherwax, and Dalene Ann Weatherwax; his life/love partner, Debbie Sullivan; his life/love partner, Kandi Phillips; grandson, Elijah Shanor; brother, Danny Weatherwax; niece, Michelle Weatherwax; grandfather, Robert Walden; uncle, John Hayes; aunt, Audrey Hayes; and three cousins, Charlotte, Kathy, and Cindy.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Ann Ingles-Weatherwax, his father, Dale Kirk Weatherwax; and many dear friends and beloved pets.
He made us laugh and he made us strong. Thank you for being in our lives, we love you so much and we will miss you.
