Larene "Lollie" Elliott

August 10, 1923 — April 16, 2012

LaRen “Lollie” Elliott, age 88, of Grants Pass, Oregon, passed away on Monday, April 16, 2012 at Neva Home.

A mausoleum cryptside service will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 23, 2012 at Sunset Memorial Park in Coos Bay, Oregon.

Mrs. Elliott was born August 10, 1923 in Prescott, Wisconsin to Nichola Nopp & Sarah (Kelly) Nopp. The family moved west and eventually settled in Bremerton, Washington before moving to the Coos Bay/North Bend area where she attended North Bend High School. She married Willis Sutton and they later divorced. In 1959 she married Donald Elliott and moved to Grants Pass. She worked at US Bank in North Bend, Grants Pass, and Oregon City where she retired as Operations Officer. Mrs. Elliott and her husband, Donald returned to Grants Pass for their retirement.

Mrs. Elliott was a member of the local order of the Moose Lodge and a loyal member of St. Anne Catholic Church.

She enjoyed camping, fishing, square dancing, oil painting, beading, ceramics, fun trips to Reno, and beachcombing while at their “lil’ Cabin by the C” in Bandon, Oregon.

Survivors include three stepdaughters, Bobbi McAlister of Grants Pass, Oregon, Caren Elliott of Merlin, Oregon, and Rejeani Elliott of Whittier, California; a stepson, Richard Elliott of San Diego, California; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a Godchild, Sandra Marshall and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Don in 1996; two brothers, Ed Nopp and Daniel Nopp; and four sisters, Almyra, Constance, Avis and Beatrice.
