Lanette was born May 28, 1953 in Jackson, California to Darrell & Geraldine Anderson. In 1971 she graduated from Grants Pass High School and attended Prairie Bible College in Canada for a year. During the 1980s she worked at Piper Drive-In, her family’s business. She later moved to Gold Beach and worked as a bank teller, in a restaurant and two motels, sometimes three jobs at a time to support her family. After returning to Grants Pass she worked for Options in the head desk area. After a serious car accident 35 years ago, she had pain but was always upbeat. She moved from Grants Pass to Grand Ronde, Oregon two years ago.
Lanette enjoyed crocheting and befriending everybody. Her three grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Trinity, and Kyra were the apple of her eye and who she lived for.
Survivors include a daughter, Emily Elledge of Grand Ronde, Oregon; her mother, Geraldine E. Anderson of Grants Pass, Oregon; two sisters, Patricia Lehosit of Bandon, Oregon and Darline Mitchell of Medford, Oregon; a brother, Lowell Anderson of Grants Pass, Oregon; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Darrell Anderson in August 2013 and a niece, Cathy Ann Simpson.
