Kory William Wright-Hayes

Kory William Wright-Hayes “Monk”, age 19, of Grants Pass, died Saturday, October 13, 2007 in Selma.

A memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 20, 2007 at Grants Pass Missionary Baptist Church (2200 Merlin-Galice Road) with Pastor Milton Hayes officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society, 31 W 6th Street, Medford, Oregon 97501.

Kory was born March 9, 1988 in Grants Pass. He lived in Grants Pass all of his life and was a Grants Pass High School graduate, Class of 2007. During high school, he was on the snowboarding team.

He enjoyed snowboarding; skateboarding; swimming in the river, especially the Illinois River; looking sharp; and being with family and friends.

Survivors include his father, Ralph Hayes; maternal grandmother, Marilyn Koch; paternal grandparents, Milton & Peggy Hayes; two sisters, Lacy and Kacy Hayes; two brothers, Evan and Cody Wright and nephew Marley Wright all of Grants Pass.

Preceding him in death was his mother, Kelly LeAnn Hayes in 2005.
