Kory C. Huske, age 43, of Grants Pass, died August 12, 2018 at his home.
He was born Kory Carl Paul Huske April 9, 1975 in Fort Collins, Colorado to Harvey James Huske & Lynn Marie Heinen. As an infant, he moved with his family to Illinois. In 1989 he moved from Tinley Park, Illinois to Grants Pass. He attended Hidden Valley High School and during his sophomore year was a foreign exchange student to Germany. As a senior high school student, he worked at Southern Oregon Medical Center in the x-ray department and proved to be a valuable young employee. He later worked at Providence Medical Center as their IT expert during the Y2K programming preparations and was a certified Microsoft engineer. He also worked at ESAM in Grants Pass and Pacific Tool & Gauge in the IT department in White City.
His hobbies included art, oil, watercolor, and pastels; snowboarding before a snowboarding accident; photography; flower gardening; and the outdoors.
Survivors include his mother, Lynn Huske; three sisters, Kim Scott, Karen Brummett & husband Tim Brummett, and Kelly Huske all of Grants Pass; and nieces and nephews, Nichole of New Jersey; Megan, Cody, Jordan, Tyler, Andrew, Alan, Collin, Brittany, Brady, and Shelby all of Grants Pass.
He was preceded in death by his father.
A celebration of life will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 24, 2018 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors.
