One more angel has moved on to Heaven.
Kirk Antony McGrath has gone home to watch over us all. Born on June 19, 1969, he spent over 48 years here in Grants Pass. As a third generation Oregonian, he was proud to live here. Kirk had a way to make everyone feel so loved and happy. His laugh could be heard all over and bring a smile to all. If you ever met Kirk you weren’t just a friend; you were family.
He worked at different jobs but really took pride in his job building cabinets at Masterbrand. He had worked there for 18 years. He especially loved the friends he made while working there. He enjoyed being outdoors, BBQing and spending time with his many friends and family. After a full day of work, you could always find him in his backyard grilling, listening to country music and spending time with his dog Ted.
Kirk passed away on October 1, 2017 in an automobile accident. He is survived by his daughters Mickensey, Haylee, Hunter, and Amelia, and his son Triston; his father Tony and his wife Janet; Kirk's in laws Mom & Pops (George & Barbara); and his sisters Tammi and her boyfriend Cooper and Shawna and her husband John. He leaves behind his three nieces Misty and her husband Jeff, Nicole, and Meggie; and his three great-nephews Kyler, Gavin, and Kasen; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his Grandma Donna Whitaker.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother Judy and his wife Tracy.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday October 14th, at 2 pm. It will be in the Floral Building at the Josephine County Fairgrounds. Guests are asked to bring a dessert or finger foods.
Contributions can be made to The Boys & Girls Club of the Rogue Valley in his memory, as he loved children and his wife Tracy worked there prior to her illness.
