Kevin William Ray Sr, age 63, of Wilderville, died Saturday, November 16, 2013 at his home.
Services and interment were held at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
Kevin was born May 26, 1950 in Grants Pass, Oregon to William & Melva Ray. In 1969 he graduated from Grants Pass High School and later attended Rogue Community College. He married Alice Morgan in Grants Pass. He was a millworker for many years before starting in real estate in 1985. After becoming disabled he retired in 1996. For the past 33 years he lived in Wilderville.
Kevin volunteered as a bowling coach for Special Olympics.
His hobbies included hunting, fishing, taxidermy, and hiking. He especially loved spending time with his grandkids.
Survivors include four children, Lorrie Johnston of Las Vegas, Nevada, Kevin Ray Jr of Salt Lake City, Utah, Brooke Hines of Albany, Oregon and Billy Ray of Grants Pass, Oregon; his sister, Janis Morgan of Wilderville, Oregon; two brothers, Rick Ray and Kim Ray both of Grants Pass, Oregon; and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Ray and his parents, William & Melva Ray.
