On Saturday morning, August 3rd, Kevin Lawerence Eldridge passed away in Wolf Creek, Oregon. Kevin was 59 years old and spent the last 8 years living in Wolf Creek with his partner, Lisa, as well as his mother and father, Charlott and Gary Brock. He leaves behind both his partner and mother, in addition to his two daughters, Kelsey and Taylor, and his two grandsons, Liam and Max.
Kevin was a graduate of North Valley High School Class of 1983. He went on to play football at Shasta Community College. Kevin’s greatest passions were woodworking and spending time with his grandsons. Throughout his life, Kevin dedicated his work to building and crafting for countless individuals including homes and decks. His grandsons now get to cherish their grandfather through his hand-crafted furniture, refurbished vehicles and all their wonderful memories they created on their “Grandpa Days.”
Through his love for his children, Kevin also dedicated his time to their sporting events and academic endeavors. He had much pride over his children’s accomplishments. While he coached his two daughters through soccer and basketball seasons, he spent his later years watching his oldest grandson begin his sporting career. At any game or event, Kevin could be counted on to be there, beaming with pride.
A memorial will be held on his parents’ property in Wolf Creek on Sunday September 1st at 4pm. Please contact Noreen Leslie Nealy (541-450-2044) or Kelsey Sherwood (541-844-6164) for the location of the service if you would like to attend.
Please share a memory on Kevin's Guestbook.
