Kevin Bradley Jones, age 50, of Cave Junction, died Thursday, May 24, 2012 at his home.
A celebration of life will be from 12 noon to 3:00 p.m., Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Fountain of Life Assembly of God Church with Pastor Mark McLean officiating. Illinois Valley Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
Kevin was born July 22, 1961 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He graduated from high school in Brighton, Colorado. On May 23, 1993 in Anchorage, Alaska he married Jostina Marie Idleman. He worked in construction for a few years before working at Safeway for over ten years. In 2001he moved to Seattle where he received a liver transplant and in 2002 moved to Cave Junction, Oregon.
Kevin volunteered as a youth basketball coach through the Cave Junction Boys & Girls Club.
His hobbies included wood carving and especially spending time with his children.
Survivors include his wife, Jostina “Tina” Jones; a daughter, Caitlyn Jones and two sons, Justin Jones and Dalton Jones all of Cave Junction, Oregon; his mother, Eleanor Jones of Cave Junction, Oregon; his father, Howard Jones of Brighton, Colorado; and a brother, Howard “Howie” Jones of Brighton, Colorado.
