Ken Clark, age 64, of Grants Pass, died Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Three Rivers Medical Center.
Ken was born in Westwood, CA and grew up in Torrance, CA. Moved to Mammoth Lakes, CA in 1974 and worked for Mammoth Ski Area. He met and married his wife, Jeannine, in August of 1978. They moved to So CA in 1980. Ken worked at Rocky Mountain Water until 2004 when he retired as Controller. Semi retired, Ken and his wife moved to Grants Pass, OR in 2004.
While in So CA Ken was an avid surfer and loved sailing Regattas. In 1998 Ken got his pilot's license and helped build his plane with his Father, Morty. His love for flying began. He was so proud of his J3 Piper Cuby and that he had over 1100 hours logged flying it. He was a very active member of our local Chapter of EAA at Grants Pass Airport and loved flying in the Young Eagles program to introduce kids ages 8 to 17 to aviation. Ken was the first one to call for any project and he always participated with a smile of his face.
In his lifetime he loved to travel. Ken and Jeannine cruised all over the over Caribbean, through the Panama Canal all the way up to Alaska. They jumped over the pond in the last few years and traveled all over Europe. Ken loved life!!!
Ken is survived by his Wife Jeannine, Daughter Amie, Son Jeff, Grandchildren Jessica, Amanda, Alexandria, Sarah, Kenny, Brother Fred and many Nieces and Nephews.
Preceded in death by his Father Morty, Mother Bonnie and Brother Donald whom he loved flying with all over California and Oregon.
Ken was loved by many and will be missed by all.
