Kelly Marie Thompson

Kelly Marie Thompson, age 48 passed away on July 11, 2024, at Asante Three Rivers Medical Center in Grants Pass, Oregon. 

Kelly was born September 15, 1975, in Newport Beach, California to Daniel B. Thompson and Judith A. Thompson. Kelly moved to Southern Oregon at the age of one and was raised in Cave Junction where she completed high school at Community Christian Academy. Kelly was a member of St. Patrick of the Forest Catholic Church for many years. Kelly never married and moved with her mother and grandmother to Green Valley, Arizona in the Spring of 2000.

Kelly was a quiet, shy, person. She enjoyed her TV shows, going on walks and prayer time. 

Kelly and her mother eventually moved to Tucson, Arizona, then returned to the Grants Pass area in August 2022. 

Kelly is survived by her father Daniel B. Thompson and stepmom Jane Thompson; brothers Daniel B. Thompson II and James L. Thompson; stepsister Kathryn Weston; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Judith and a nephew.

Celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 1, 2024, at St. Patrick of the Forest Catholic Church in Cave Junction with Father Wolf officiating. Interment will follow at Laurel Cemetery, Cave Junction. Arrangements with Hull & Hull Funeral Directors.
