Kay Lynn Klatt, age 75, of Grants Pass, died Saturday, November 29, 2014 at her home. She had been a dementia patient for the past several years.
A celebration of life will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Parkway Christian Center Fellowship Hall. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
Kay was born November 5, 1939 in Santa Monica, California. She came to the Rogue Valley in the fall of 1982 in time to register her two youngest daughters in school at Christian Life School at Rogue River Assembly of God Church.
Kay received the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior in January 1983 and began attending Rogue River Assembly of God Church. Through Christian fellowship she met her future husband, Dick Klatt and in January 1993 the two were married and lived in Grants Pass.
She loved her family and the Lord and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Kay is survived by husband, Richard “Dick” Klatt of Grants Pass, Oregon; a son, Jeffrey Forbes and wife Karla of Los Angeles, California; four daughters, Shelley Forbes of Los Angeles, California, Pamela Talley and husband Dale of Arizona, Jennifer Miller of Grants Pass, Oregon and Samantha O’Brien and husband Shawn of Cottonwood, California; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two sisters, Carol Waldron of Grants Pass, Oregon and Kathy Eakley of Broomfield, Colorado.
