Kathleen "Kathy" Johnson

Kathleen “Kathy” Johnson, age 86, of Rogue River, died Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Morrow Heights.

A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 2, 2012 at New Beginnings Christian Center in Rogue River. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Kathy was born August 12, 1925 in Lomita, California to Edward & Kathryn Berg. She graduated from Covina High School. On February 14, 1947 in Monterey Park, California she married Harold Frank Johnson. In 1989 Kathy moved from West Covina, California to Rogue River. She worked as an escrow officer for 20 years.

Kathy was a member of Rogue River Assembly of God, now New Beginnings Christian Center.

Her hobbies included making cards on her computer and gardening.

Survivors include a son, Brad Johnson and wife Marie of Central Point, Oregon; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold Johnson; two daughters, Doreen Beadle and Sheila Crabb; and a grandson, Lance Corporal Robert Johnson.
