Kathleen Allman

Former Rogue River resident, Kathleen Allman, age 63, of Medford, died Sunday, December 18, 2011 at Rogue Valley Medical Center.

A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m., Friday, December 23, 2011 at Edgewater Christian Fellowship, 101 Assembly Circle, Grants Pass with Pastor Mark Skudstad officiating. Private interment will be at Woodville Cemetery. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Kathleen was born July 30, 1948 in Glendale, California to Dwayne & Marjorie Sauer and was raised in Southern California. On December 3, 1966 in Canoga Park, California she married Dean Allman. In January 1973 she moved to Rogue River where she was a stay-at-home mom and raised her four children. In 2010 she moved to Medford.

Kathleen taught piano lessons out of her home; taught Good News Club; and was involved in Child Evangelism Fellowship. She also was involved in Community Bible Study for over 20 years and taught at Community Bible Study for the past 12 years.

She was devoted to the Lord, her husband, her four children and her six grandchildren.

Survivors include three daughters, Deanna Jones of Central Point, Oregon, Natalie Hocking of Medford, Oregon, and Annette Schwarz of Van Nuys, California; a son, Joshua Allman of Medford, Oregon; a sister, Linda Ratcliffe of Centreville, Virginia; a brother, Jim Sauer of Ripon, California; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Allman; and her parents, Dwayne & Marjorie Sauer.
