Kaleb Alan Kane, age 16, of Medford, died Thursday, April 13, 2017 at his home.
A celebration of life will be Tuesday, April 18, 2017 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors, 612 NW A Street, Grants Pass OR 97526.
Kaleb was born January 30, 2001 in Eugene, Oregon to Kristopher Lamont Kane and Melissa Ann Marsh. He attended Fairfield Elementary School in Eugene; after moving to Medford in 2008, he attended Jefferson Elementary School and McLoughlin Middle School; and currently he was in 10th grade at Central Medford High School.
Kaleb was smart, articulate and intelligent. He was interested in computer work and coding; fixing his friend’s computers; Minecraft and Xbox games. He wanted to be a glass blower and live off-grid in the woods. His favorite quote is “Stay Trippy Young Hippie. Stay positive. Stay Happy. Good vibes only”.
Survivors include his mother, Melissa Marsh of Medford; stepfather, John Campbell of Medford; two brothers, Kolton Kane of Medford and Tristyn Campbell of Keizer, Oregon; Nana Michelle Watson of Choctaw, Oklahoma; Grandpa Bruce Bockstiegel of Cave Junction; grandfather, Dale Kane of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; aunts and uncles; Tsunami, his girlfriend; and Jack, his dog.
Kaleb is preceded in death by his father in 2008.
