Juliette Annette Berube

Juliette Annette Berube, age 84, of Grants Pass, died Sunday, June 12, 2011 at Highland House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

A funeral mass will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 16, 2011 at St. Anne Catholic Church. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Memorial donations may be made to the St. Anne Altar Society, c/o St. Anne Catholic Church, 1131 NE 10th Street, Grants Pass, Oregon 97526.

Juliette was born October 25, 1926 in Holyoke, Massachusetts to Lawrence & Josephine LeFebvre. On February 8, 1947 in Holyoke, she married George Berube Sr. She attended nursing school in Massachusetts at the Holyoke Hospital. She worked as an L.P.N. at South Hadley Nursing Home in Holyoke and Royale Gardens in Grants Pass. She lived in Pasadena, California and was a manager at Villa Raymond. She retired in the mid 1990’s and returned to Grants Pass.

She was a member of St Anne Catholic Church.

Her hobbies included playing cards and casino trips to Seven Feathers once a month with her son. She was very social and enjoyed spending time in the community room at The Bridge.

Survivors include three sons, George “Sonny” J. Berube Jr. of Portland, Oregon, Daniel J. Berube of Grants Pass, Oregon, Robert K. Berube of San Diego, California; a daughter, Marie L. Therrien of Lincoln, New Hampshire; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Berube Sr. on November 19, 1990 and 18 siblings.
