Judith "Judi" Ann Thompson

Judith Ann Thompson, age 77, passed away on December 8, 2022 at Redwood Terrace in Grants Pass, Oregon. A Mass will be held on Thursday December 15, 2022 at 11:00 a.m., at St. Patrick of the Forest Catholic Church in Cave Junction, Oregon with Father Robert Wolf officiating. Interment will follow at Laurel Cemetery in Cave Junction. Arrangements with Hull & Hull Funeral Directors.

Judith was born November 15, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan to Jim and Dorothy Franks. Judi’s family moved to Southern California where she attended and graduated from Mater Dei High School; and went on to graduate from nursing school. In 1967, Judi married and had three children Dan, Jim, and Kelly.

In 1977, Judi and her children moved to Cave Junction where her parents had retired. That same year she started working for Dr. Charles Versteeg. She spent 20 years helping and caring for the residents of Cave Junction, and was an active parishioner at St. Patrick of the Forest Catholic Church.

In 2000, Judi along with her mother and daughter moved to Green Valley, Arizona. She worked for Silver Springs Retirement Community for over 12 years before retiring.

Judi is survived by her children Dan Thompson, Jim Thompson and Kelly Thompson as well as grand and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, and a grandson.
