Judith D. Smith

Judith Delaine Smith, age 72, of Glendale, died July 21, 2022 at her home.

Judith was born November 15, 1949 in Grants Pass, Oregon to Betty & James Ralph Brady. She lived in Glendale most of her life.

Judith had many jobs over the years, her first was selling Avon products. She then worked at Glenway Market; owned and operated Cars Market; was a hospice caregiver; and a caregiver for her son Steven.

Judith married her first husband Jose Gallego April 11, 1964 and together they had four children. After a divorced she married George Daniel Smith September 4, 1999 and he preceded her in death in 2015.

Judith volunteered with and supported Glendale USA youth wrestling for many years.

Her hobbies included playing bingo, gardening and spending time with her family.

Survivors include daughter Regina Remsh; three sons Jose Gallego, John Gallego and Steven Gallego; grandchildren Sonya and Tory Remsh, Oliva, Emma and Anna Gallego, and Chris, Luke, Timmy and Dylan; and ten great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather Leonard; sisters Janet and Janneen; and granddaughter Haley.

A celebration of life will be at 1:00 p.m., August 6, 2022 at Glendale Assembly of God Church with Pastor Terry Bess officiating. A potluck will follow at Glendale City Park.
