Juanita “Nita” Prince, age 81, of Grants Pass, died Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at Royale Gardens Health & Rehabilitation Center.
A memorial service will be at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, August 15, 2009 at Hull & Hull Chapel with Pastor Mark Skudstad officiating. Private interment will be at Eagle Point National Cemetery. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Nita was born January 5, 1928 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. At the end of World War II, she met and then married Charles E. Prince in California on July 3, 1946. Shortly after their marriage they moved to Grants Pass.
She attended Rogue River Foursquare Church and Edgewater Christian Fellowship. She was a member of Grants Pass Golf Club, Grants Pass Christian Women’s Club, and Women’s Aglow Fellowship.
Her hobbies included golf, bowling, painting, camping, square dancing, interior decorating, and spending winters in Yuma, Arizona. She especially loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include a son, David E. Prince of Grants Pass; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Charles E. Prince and a daughter, Linda West.
