Joshua James Humphreys

Joshua James Humphreys was born in Sonora, California April 6, 1990, and passed away in Grants Pass, Oregon June 7, 2023.

Joshua was born to Bob and Beverly Humphreys, and moved to Chiloquin, Oregon with his family in 1996. When the family moved to Rogue River in 2000, he attended Rogue River Middle School and High School. Joshua played football for both schools and wrestled for a year in high school, earning a spot to go to state. He grew up camping, fishing, hunting, and riding motorcycles. Although, fishing would always be his favorite. His interest in motorcycles led him to attend MMI in Arizona where he was certified as a mechanic.

Joshua had a big heart and always wore it on his sleeve. He had an infectious personality and was loved by so many. He will mostly be remembered by family and friends for his kindness, his smile, his humor and his love for his family.

Joshua is survived by his son Lincoln; parents Bob and Beverly Humphreys; brother Jonathan (Matlyn); nephew Weston; grandmothers Shirley Jensen and Sandra McCoy; and by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers Ronald L. McCoy and John T. Jensen.

Joshua left this world way too soon, and he will be remembered every day. If love could have saved you, Josh, you would have lived forever.

A Celebration of Life will be at 10:00 a.m., August 12, 2023 at Edgewater Christian Fellowship, 101 Assembly Circle, Grants Pass, Oregon 97526.
