Jon Paul Guches

Jon Paul Guches, age 47, of Cave Junction, died December 20, 2019 at home.

Jon was born May 15, 1972 in Medford, Oregon into a family who helped settle the Griffin Creek area. A family of hardworking loggers and farmers. Because his father John Guches served in the U.S. Air Force, Jon earned his military brat title of which he was so proud. He learned a lot about the countries he lived in including Italy and Japan. While in the Job Corps he learned to be a mechanic and welder and later drove an 18-wheeler across the United States. He also worked at Bear Creek as a truck driver and fork lift operator. He moved from Eagle Point to Cave Junction seven years ago.

Jon was uniquely himself. He loved life, always helping those in need. He cared for his family and friends. His life was full of the many things he enjoyed doing in life.

Jon could always be found in the outdoors and was an avid outdoorsman.

Survivors includes his parents John & Gloria Guches; and two brothers Herbert Guches and Christopher Guches.

A celebration of life will be held in spring 2020.
