John T. Harmon

John T. Harmon, age 74, of Grants Pass, died Friday, October 30, 2009 at Rogue Valley Medical Center.

No services are planned. Private interment will be at Eagle Point National Cemetery. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

John was born October 5, 1935 in Bangor, Maine to William & Doris Harmon. He served three tours in Japan and Germany for the United States Army. He later worked as a long haul trucker. Ten years ago, he moved from Northern California to Grants Pass.

John was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed mining.

He is survived by close friends who he considered his family, Betty Young, Ray Young, and Jackie Redmond all of Grants Pass; and John Mogle of Klamath Falls.
