John N Jacobson

John N. Jacobson, age 81, of Grants Pass, passed away at his home Friday, December 7, 2012.

Family services have been held. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

John was born July 6, 1931 in Bandon, Oregon to E.H. & Bertie Jacobson. In 1949 he graduated from Lebanon High School. On July 21, 1957 in Corvallis, Oregon he married Darlene Vasek. In 1959 he moved from Albany to Grants Pass. He worked in the trucking business in the Medford and Grants Pass area for over 30 years.

Survivors include his wife Darlene Jacobson of Grants Pass, Oregon; a son, Scott Jacobson of New York, New York; three brothers, James Jacobson of Santa Barbara, California, Jerry Jacobson of Ashland, Oregon and Joel Jacobson of Grants Pass, Oregon and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, E.H. & Bertie Jacobson and a son, Bruce Jacobson.
