John Green

John Green, age 63, of Grants Pass, died Saturday, February 4, 2012 at his home.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Hull & Hull Chapel. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

John was born on July 23, 1948 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. After graduating from high school he served in the United States Air Force as a jet engine mechanic during the Vietnam War. He worked as a millwright at MasterBrand Cabinets for 31 years. In 1979 he moved from Ohio to Grants Pass. On November 9, 1990 in Grants Pass he married Connie.

His hobbies included fishing, gardening and woodworking.

His is survived by his wife of 21 years, Connie Green of Grants Pass; a son Tim Green of Eugene; a daughter, Sallie Johnson of Grants Pass; mother, Delvia Green of Rogue River; three sisters Joyce Condon of San Jose, California, Wanda Johnson of Sheridan, Arkansas and Grace Chapman of Rogue River and three beautiful grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jessie; two brothers, Edward and Larry and two sisters, Anita and Linda.

He loved his family, friends, fishing and football. He will be missed beyond measure.
