Joel B. Norris

Joel B Norris of Wimer Oregon passed away unexpectedly on Friday August 27th, 2021 at the age of 61.

Born in California on July 20th 1960 to parents Joel and Shirley Norris. Joel grew up in the Northern California/Southern Oregon area where he started his career as a carpenter. Joel relocated to Anchorage Alaska with his young family in 1981, becoming a successful building contractor and business owner. In 2002 he returned to Southern Oregon where he continued his contracting business.

Joel forged endless friendships during his career. Always the one to call if you needed help as he could fix or make just about anything. Joel loved to spend time outdoors whether hunting, fishing or gardening. He had a knack for it all. He was the rock at the center of his family, and will be greatly missed.

Joel is survived by his mother Shirley Norris. Son Shaun Norris and his children. Daughter Alicia Stigerwalt and her children. Life partner Kathy Sands and her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Siblings Rick Norris, Erica Janbay, Lisa Alpert and Michael Norris. He is preceded in death by his father Joel B Norris.

The family is holding a private service at Siskiyou Cemetery but invite all friends and family to the Celebration of Life on Saturday September 18th 2:30 PM at VFW Post #4116 located at 410 E Main Street Rogue River, Oregon.
