Jessie E. Hudson

Jessie E. Hudson, age 93, of Grants Pass, died Saturday, April 18, 2009 at Oak Lane Retirement.

A visitation will be from 10:00 a.m to 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors.

A memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at First Christian Church with Pastor Wes Winn officiating. She will be interred along side her husband in Enid, Oklahoma. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to her favorite charity, Feed the Children, PO Box 36, c/o Larry Jones, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73101.

Jessie was born May 21, 1915 in Hitchcock, Oklahoma. She graduated Valedictorian, Class of 1933 at Omega High School. In 1971 she moved from Enid, Oklahoma to Grants Pass. From 1972 to 1984 she worked as a Ward Clerk for Josephine Memorial Hospital.

Jessie was a member of First Christian Church for 15 years.

Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy Johnson of Mesa, Arizona; a son, Roy Hudson of Grants Pass; two granddaughters, Shelly Burroughs of Ft. Gibson, Oklahoma and Cindy DeMill of Nampa, Idaho; a sister, Ruby Cessna of Benbrook, Texas; six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Preceding her in death was her husband Eddie Hudson, a son, Ray Hudson and eleven brothers and sisters.
