Jesse Kygar, age 55, of Grants Pass, died May 24, 2022 at home.
Jesse was born October 5, 1966 in Fairbanks, Alaska. He attended schools in several locations, graduating with a Bachelors degree from Eastern Oregon University. On June 2, 1990 in John Day, Oregon he married Davia Cernazanu and together they had two sons, Alex and Dakota. They also hosted several exchange students over the years. The family eventually moved from John Day to Grants Pass nearly 15 years ago. He managed Mill Street Car Wash for the past seven years.
Jesse was a member of the 541 Outlaw Car Club and the Rogue Valley Classic Cruisers.
He volunteered with an ambulance service; youth sports including soccer, wrestling, and basketball; scouts; and car club events. He also enjoyed teaching EMT and First Aid classes.
His hobbies included hunting, fishing, remodeling houses, sports cars, and going to the track with his car. He also was very active in all his sons’ activities.
Survivors include his wife Davia Kygar of Grants Pass; sons Alex Kygar of LaGrande and Dakota Kygar of Albany; sisters Tyann Richmond-Kygar of Caldwell, Idaho and Tiny Kygar of Homedale, Idaho; four sisters-in-law; and six brothers-in-law.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Family services will be held.
