Jeromie Dean “Jay” Mauldin-Rich, age 20, of Grants Pass, died Tuesday, August 28, 2007 as a result of an automobile accident.
A visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to service time, Saturday, September 1, 2007 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Savage Street.
A funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 1, 2007 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Savage Street with Bishop Mike Laughman officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
Jeromie was born September 24, 1986 in Medford, Oregon. He lived in Rogue River until not long ago moving to Grants Pass. On June 29, 2007 in Reno, Nevada he married Sasha Raye Burton. He most recently worked for Chet’s Garden & Landscaping.
He enjoyed helping his friends with their cars and whatever they needed. He enjoyed driving especially the back roads to Rogue River. His hobbies included skateboarding, snowboarding at Mt Ashland, and art including free hand drawing and pastel and oil painting. His favorite music groups were Tech 9 and Kotton Mouth Kings; and liked the SRH Brand.
Survivors include his wife, Sasha Burton of Grants Pass; his mom and “pops”, Laura Rich and Doug Parren both of Rogue River; stepfather, Scott Rich of Grants Pass; and dad, Arvel “Ben” Mauldin Jr of Medford; three brothers, Ben Rich of Grants Pass, Spencer Rich of Merlin, and Stephen Mauldin of Medford; two sisters, Chantel Rich of Rogue River and Samantha Mauldin of Medford; his “Zda Zda” (Dziadzia is Polish for Grandfather), Jim Kwiatkowski of Anaheim, California; grandmothers, Joyce Kamm of Red Bluff, California, Lyyndell Rocha of Medford, and Diana Oliver of Grants Pass.
