Jennifer Giancola

Jennifer Giancola, age 42, of Grants Pass, died July 26, 2017 at her home.

Jennifer was born January 15, 1975 in Buena Park, California. In 1992, she graduated from Jurupa Valley High School in Riverside, California. She gave birth to her son, Spencer Pughe in 1993 and in 1995 moved from California first to Selma then to Grants Pass in 2001. She started working for Albertsons on Beacon Drive where she was a staple and welcomed every customer with a giant smile. She befriended everyone. While working at Albertson’s she met her husband, Scott Giancola and they were married July 26, 2014. Scott preceded her in death on November 29, 2015. Jennifer later worked at Diamond Home Improvement t until her health no longer allowed it.

Her hobbies included rock collecting, rafting, watching Jeopardy, music, gardening, and watching sports.

Survivors include her only child, son Spencer Pughe of Boston, Massachusetts; her father, Jay B. Lee of Riverside, California; her younger sister, Tahnia Clarke of Westfield, North Dakota and her older sister, Deanna Timmons of Anaheim, California.

In addition to her husband, Scott; she was preceded in death by her mother, Lynn Lee in 1994 and her brother, Vance Holt in 1993.

A celebration of life was held.
