"Jeff" Jeffery E. Dean

“Jeff” Jeffery E. Dean, age 56, of Grants Pass, died Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Asante Three Rivers Medical Center.

He was born February 1, 1961 in Hemet, California. Jeff met Kristin in November 1982. They Married May 1985. In 1989, together with his wife, He began Jeff Dean’s Tree Service. He has continued working in the tree business for the past 40 years. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and employer.

Jeff enjoyed assisting at his children’s schools and local church.

Jeff’s hobbies included hunting, fishing, riding quads at the dunes, and he especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

Survivors include his spouse, Kristin Dean; three sons; Ryan Dean of San Diego, Ethan Dean of Portland, Dakota Dean of Grants Pass; Daughter Kellie McDanel of Grants Pass; Mother, Velma Dean, Brother, Rick Dean; five sisters, Trudy Bradley, Claudette Garcia, Theresa Clark, Patricia Peterson, Laura Gikas; Four Grandchildren, Laci May Schuessler, Chase Dean, Trenton McDanel and Cayson Dean.

He was preceded in death by his father Eldon Dean and brother David Dean.

A memorial service will be at 11:00am Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors with Matthew Gollaher officiating.
