Jeannette Marie "Jeannie" Hicks

Jeannette Marie “Jeannie” Hicks, age 51, of Grants Pass, died Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at Three Rivers Medical Center.

A viewing will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 21, 2014 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors

A funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 21, 2014 at Hull & Hull Chapel.

Jeannie was born December 16, 1962 in San Jose, California to Howard and Rose Schnittker. On May 10, 1979 in Sunnyvale, California she married Rod Hicks, who survives. In 1989 they moved from San Jose to Grants Pass. She worked for Mycorrhizal Applications.

Jeannie enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, gardening, shopping, crocheting and cooking.

She is leaving a large group of family and friends, who loved her as much as she loved them. She will be truly missed.

Survivors include her husband, Rod Hicks Sr.; a daughter, Nichole M. Hicks; a son, Rodney L. Hicks Jr. all of Grants Pass; her parents, Howard & Rose Schnittker and a sister, Patsy Stokes.
