Jeanne Yvonne Balt

Jeanne Y. Balt, age 93, of Grants Pass, died February 25, 2019 at Asante Ashland Community Hospital.

Jeanne was born September 14, 1925 in Bladen, Nebraska. On July 14, 1945 she married Chester Balt. In 1986 she moved form Pico Rivera, California to Grants Pass.

Jeanne was a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church where she was active in Christ Care. She volunteered with the Jerome Prairie Neighbors Club for 30+ years.

Jeanne especially enjoyed traveling and lunch with friends.

She was preceded in death by husband Chester Balt in January 2003; son Michael Balt in October 2017; parents Elmer & Margaret Fetty; and brother Kenneth Fetty.

Survivors include son Randall and his wife Sue of Beaumont, California; granddaughters Jennifer and Nancy; great-granddaughter Cameron; and sister Jerilyn Reinhart.

A memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m., March 6, 2019 at Bethany Presbyterian Church in Grants Pass.
